Testimonials

Dear Julie,

Many thanks indeed for all your efforts in helping to arrange the funeral on Friday and personally, for your help in drafting the Order of Service.

It went extremely well thanks to your attention to getting the order of service right and your conduct of the service itself. On the latter, it was agreed by all, that you officiated with just the right touch, showing considerably empathy, which drew out the best from the readers and the family, not to mention a deft touch as the service progressed.

All in all, it was a great credit to you, the crematorium staff and Becky at Memoria.

Please do pass on my thanks to the crematorium staff. It was by far the best crematorium I have been to, well laid out and organised.

Once again many thanks. Your support to us all was invaluable and much appreciated.

Julie,

Thank you so much. You really made the children feel part of the service.

I loved the pictures the children drew and then explained to their dad what they had drawn during the Committal.  I know that you went off the agreed script, and it was wonderful to see the children involved in the service.  Thank you so much.

Hi Julie,

I really appreciate what you did, and you created a lovely service for my mum
thanks.

Best regards. March 2022

Hi Julie,

I can’t thank you enough for today, it was a beautiful service. xx

January 2022

Hi Julie,

Thank you so much, you put my husband’s mind a rest, he was so worried about arranging his mum’s funeral, and you made it easy and enjoyable.

Thank you. February 2022

Dear Julie.

Thank you so much for all your help. I think Mum would be very pleased with how it was yesterday. As you see, we could have talked about her for hours and I am sure that her legacy will live on.

The input from my sister was last minute and unexpected, but she did so well and I think it would have been very cathartic for her.

Hi Julie,

I would have never imagined that mum’s service would have standing room only. Thank you for being so adaptable and letting my brother speak at the last minute. I loved the sing-song at the end, mum would have certainly approved.

Thank you. February 2022

There are five stages of grief that we all go through due to a loss.

  1. Shock and Denial – help us minimise the overwhelming pain we are going through
  2. Anger – Trying to adjust to a new reality and new experiences and having to do them on your own
  3. Bargaining – Asking someone to help change the outcome. “God if you can make my mum better I promise I….
  4. Depression – We start to feel the loss of our loved one
  5. Acceptance – A new reality slowly dawns on us, and we come to accept the change in our lives.
